Storytelling provides positive sharing experiences. It fosters development of self-confidence and imbibes values to the listeners. It promotes development of the listening skills. Storytelling enhances language development and vocabulary. It stimulates interest in reading for pleasure. It creates a link between reading skills and writing skills.
